This set of 5 whale tails has been strung on a 6 foot white organza ribbon and is completely adjustable. Simply move the pieces back and forth until you have them exactly where you want them.
Use this unique piece of folk art year round, for your favorite holiday or special occasion. Perfect to hang across a window, mantel, doorway or where ever you see fit.
Each piece is formed from porcelain clay by hand, one at a time, in my New England home studio. Each piece is unique and no two are alike with each whale tail varying slightly in color and shape due to the unpredictability of glaze. Each heart is glazed on the front, while the back is left unglazed. Each whale tail is then kiln-fired to 1900 degrees.
Each strawberry is approximately 1/4" thick, and approximately 3 1/2" x 3" in size.
