Primitive Folk Art Wool Hooked Rug ~ Little Miss Penny Chicken ***

This one of a kind Miss Penny Chicken rug is my own design and was hooked on linen with all hand dyed wool I dyed myself in my New England home studio.

This rug measures in at around 13 1/4 x 16" and was so much fun to hook.

Different shades of muted browns and tans were used for the background, faded antique blacks for Miss Penny. The grassy patch at the bottom of the rug was hooked shades of primitive green.
