Primitive American Folk Art ~ Wool Hooked Rug Pillow ~ Nantucket Whale ~ ***

This Cape Code whale pillow with American flag measures in at 11 1/2" x23 1/2" and was hooked on linen by my hands with 100% wool I hand dyed in my New England home studio.

Loaded with shades of sea glass colored wool for the sky and my favorite Dutch blue for the sea, this giant whale pillow was a delight to hook.

The pillow has been stuffed with wool scraps for an old fashioned feel and backed with a piece of my hand dyed deep sea glass blue colored wool.

Perfect for the coastal or New England home. A fun piece of American folk art.
