Primitive American Folk Art ~ Wool Hooked Rug Pillow ~ Mini Nantucket Whale

This sweet little whale pillow measures in at 5" x 11.25" and was hooked on linen by my hands with 100% wool I hand dyed in my New England home studio.

Practically every shade of sea glass blue I had in my stash was used to create the whale, and the background was hooked with several shades of oat/sand colored wool. The pillow has been stuffed with wool scraps for an old fashioned feel.
