Primitive Wool Folk Art Hooked Rug Pillow ~ Robin In Nest ~ Early Style

Made by my hands, this 14.75" x10" primitive robin in nest pillow was hooked on linen. I used antique blacks for the background and a beautiful assortment of creamy blues for the robin.

Perfectly primitive in every way.

This rug was hooked in my New England studio using 100% hand dyed wool. The sweet little pillow is backed with a worn black wool as well.
