Primitive Folk Art Rudolf and His Very Merry Tree Wool Hooked Rug / Mat

This primitive hooked Rudolf and His Very Merry Tree rug/mat was hooked on linen using all hand dyed wool.

For the reindeer I used a nice blend of brown hand dyed wool, hit and miss colors for the side borders and a drab green for the tree. A mix of my old black wool formula was used for the background for a nice primitive feel. This piece of folk art measures in at 17 3/4" x 6 1/2".
