Primitive Folk Art ~ Basket of Spring Posies ~ Wool Hooked Rug ~ Early Style ~

This simple basket of spring posies rug measures 12 3/4" by 9 1/4" and was hooked on linen with wool I hand dyed myself in my New England home studio.

A nice mix of antique worn black wool was wool was used for the background and faded blues, reds and purples for the posies. A fun piece to display year round.
