SET OF 9 Antique Red Wool Flowers

These primitive wool hooked rug flowers were hooked by my hands. Perfect for the primitive home. Each flower head measures approximately 5" round, and was hooked with an antique red wool that was hand dyed by myself in my New England home studio.

Creamy tan wool was used for the center of the flowers and each flower head is backed with a coordinating antique red hand dyed wool. Strips of muted green wool were used for the leaves.

Twigs were collected from our property and used as stems for the finished flowers and they measure 19"-24" from the bottom of the twig to the top of the flower. You may trim the ends of the twigs with pruning shears if a shorter length is needed. A unique and fun piece of folk art!
