Primitive Hooked Wool Whale Rug New England Nantucket Folk Art
Hooked by my hands this sweet little whale rug measures 11 1/2"x 5". For the whale I used various shades of hand dyed blue wool and for the background I used a combination of faded tans and cream colored wool.
All wool was hand dyed in my New England home studio.
Hooked on linen.
